New chimney stack placed by trio of cranes at Ravensdown.

The Smith Cranes' Grove GMK6300 all-terrain crane placed the first 25m chimney section using over 74m of boom which was tailed out with the Liebherr LTC1045.

The second 32m chimney section was tailed out with Franna AT16 pick-and-carry crane. Together the trio of cranes successfully placed the 8-tonne section to a radius of nearly 19m and a total height of over 67m.

The Smith Cranes' Liebher LTC1045 was configured with 36m of main boom plus a further 13m fly-jib rigged for man-cage work to assist with bolting of chimney sections.
