Marine
Marine works have always been a part of the Smith Crane and Construction's core work through our piling and foundation operation within the civil engineering division.
We are able to carry out tasks such as:
- Wharf construction
- Sheet piling
- Wharf demolition and removal
- Dredging
- Full harbour development
In 2012 the civil engineering division acquired tug boat Joe Mann together with a fleet of flexi floats to form a variety of barge configurations for working afloat. The barge is capable of carrying a 100-tonne crawler crane enabling demolition, maintenance and construction works from the water.
