The New Zealand Crane Association directory lists Smith Crane & Construction Ltd as having 91 cranes – the largest number of cranes of all its members.
Published in 2013, the 132-page booklet lists the credentials of all its members across New Zealand. Smith Crane & Construction's listed crane types include all-terrain, carrier-mounted, crawler, overhead, tower, rough-terrain and truck-loader types, as well as access equipment and 17 services.
Coming in a close-second was New Zealand Steel Ltd with its 90 gantry-type ('overhead') cranes, followed by operators based in Rangiora (60 cranes) and Wellington (52 cranes).
Today, Smith Crane & Construction Ltd and its affiliate Universal Cranes (Australia) have a combined fleet of over 270 cranes. Do you have a similar type job requirement?
