The Architect used a combination of treatments to the precast panels in this building.
These included a ribbed finished to some panels, a large feature panel with a stylised representation of the Waimakariri river system recessed into the face, curved panels - with both ribbed and smooth surface finishes - to the corners of the building, and smooth faced panels that are to receive a coloured concrete stain surface finish.
