BRIEF

Replacement of Bridge 3 Main South Line following substantial damage after the February 2011 Canterbury earthquake. This work was carried out as an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contract with Kiwirail and Novare design.

The works for this job included:

- Bored installation of 1.2 meter diameter piles with 600mm driven piles within concrete abutment

- Permanent sheet piling

- Precast deck units manufacture and installation

- Post tensioning

- Earthworks and drainage
